SUMMARY
Legends tell of a tower located at the peak of a mountain. A tower where each floor is a world of its own crawling with dangerous creatures known as yokai. Those who dare scale the floors and reach the top will receive a divine gift from the Goddess; A wish of their desire. Seeking this wish are the Climbers, the people who dedicate themselves to scale the tower's floors on their way to the very top.
One of those people is Haku Nozomu, a young boy who wishes to climb the tower in hopes of discovering new things. Recently graduated as a Climber, he traverses the tower along with his teammates: Momoka Kyarameru, a priestess prodigy with a troubled past, and Uni Katsuko, an outlaw with a demonic appearance. While their reasons for fighting are different from one another, they share a great passion to reach the top by all means necessary.
No matter how difficult the trials may be, they will find a way to traverse the 15 floors on their way to the top. Thus people tell of the legend of the Tower of Wishes.
Tower of Wishes
is a Japanese-style fantasy light novel set in the Edo period of rural Japan. It's written in English and contains illustrations in each chapter.
The story takes place in a village on a tall, remote mountain. Strangely, the only inhabitants of the village are kids and teens. At the peak sits a giant tower that serves as the centerpiece of the village. Inside lies several floors containing creatures known as yokai. It is said that those who reach the top floor will receive a wish from the Goddess, Samui.

The ones who dare climb the tower call themselves Climbers. Their duty is to climb the tower to the best of their abilities and fight yokai alongside one another. Each Climber possesses a unique weapon forged from the soul of a yokai that grows in power with each yokai they slay. Some Climbers can channel the power of nature itself, granting them extraordinary skills and techniques unseen by many.
